Mark My Words allows teachers to provide impactful, timely and frequent feedback on student work while simultaneously tracking every skill for every student on every assessment. Founded by a former Head of English and Humanities, the system offers a suite of analytical tools that flag at-risk students and help teachers make interventions.
James was the Head of English, Humanities, and the Advanced Learning Program at Alphington Grammar School. James holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Teaching (Secondary), and a Master of Education (Student Wellbeing) from the University of Melbourne. He has completed research on effective ways to use digital technologies to teach spelling, punctuation and grammar explicitly and has presented at conferences across Australia on integrating artificial intelligence into the assessment process while keeping teachers in control.
