Joe Glesta is the CEO of Climasens, a pioneering digital climate risk software company. Joe blends passion, expertise, and a down-to-earth approach to drive change in the climate resilience space, through technology.
His academic roots trace back to the University ofMelbourne, where he earned a Master of Environment degree. It was here that Joe developed his interest in the confluence of technology and environmental sustainability. His focus on adaptation as an underserved area of technology led him to develop Climasens with his team, to help communities plan, prepare and respond to climate change extremes.
Joe’s accomplishments in the professional sphere are matched by his zest for life. An ardent lover of the outdoors, he’s often found biking and hiking, relishing the very environment he’s dedicated to protecting. When he’s not exploring the wilderness, he’s concocting his own unique hot sauce or appreciating a craft beer.
Shaun is a Software Engineer with a background in Telecommunications and Computer Science. His work has spanned across the creative sector as a web developer, to creating software and hardware solutions for the agri-tech industry, and finally onto co-founding Climasens.
Shaun’s passion for developing creative and practical solutions has driven him to focus on the Internet of Things, where he is able to combine both the physical and digital world. He focuses on a hands-on, agile approach to his work, which allows him to innovate, iterate, prototype and plan for scale.
Outside of Climasens, he spends his timeserving aces on the tennis court, or engaging in other interests like aviation.
